Aspiring Writers Circle

Aspiring Writers Circle is a creative writing group that meets every first and third Thursday of the month at 6 PM virtually. On the first Thursday we hold an open floor session where participants are welcomed to share their work with the group for feedback and constructive criticism. On the third Thursday we take a deep-dive into a creative writing related topic and then engage in a writing exercise. In the past we have done sessions on science fiction writing, play writing, horror, poetry, flash fiction, mystery, satire, nature writing, YA fiction, memoir, as well as a host of other relevant topics such as writing a pitch to literary agents and overcoming writers block.
