Being Safe Online: Cybersecurity Basics

This workshop will build participants' confidence when visiting websites, creating passwords, and responding to email. At the end of the session, participants will be able to: · Identify a secure website (i.e. a website that's safe to create an account on). · Identify tips to create a strong password that is easy to remember. · Identify key factors in an email messages that indicate a scam. · Learn tips and tricks of how to remain a safe user online.
