Liwanag (Filipino Lit Fest)

The Library and Loyalty Bookstores are honored to present the second biennial Liwanag Filipino Lit Fest DC in the Petworth neighborhood of Washington, DC! We're thrilled to be in community with our friends Bel Canto Books and the incredible Liwanag Lit Fest in Long Beach, CA, making this a bicoastal celebration! Building on the work of our sister festival, we aim to shine a light in DC on Filipino literature and authors from the diaspora.
