Outlook Email Basics
You will establish your own Outlook account and navigate all folders and free applications included within your account. Seats are limited to 16 participants and will be filled on a first-come, first-served walk-in basis. Please arrive a half-hour early to sign in for a seat at one of the 16 workstations. You will learn to: Define e-mail and distinguish between server-based email & web-based email accounts Generate a web-based version of an Outlook account by creating a username and a secure password Review the components of your web-based outlook e-mail. Identify all folders & free applications included within your account Observe how to personalize your Outlook account by using the option features Create an individual signature within your Outlook account Compose, send, read, reply, and forward Outlook e-mail View calendar and learn the steps for making a meeting request with another Outlook user Observe the established protocols and courtesies in Outlook e-mail communications
